The Camberwell Arms are opening a bar in the historic grounds of the Dulwich Picture Gallery this summer.
The bar will be part of the Dulwich Pavilion, a summer long events space that will host a varied programme of public events celebrating the Gallery’s bicentenary year and will open to the public at the beginning of the London Festival of Architecture on 1st June 2017.
The bar takes inspiration from the beautiful grounds of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, with summer drinks that are served in similar surroundings across Europe. Delicious, and refreshing, the list will include drinks like Lilet on ice, white port & tonic and Chinotto. These drinks are perfectly suited to the setting of the Dulwich Picture Gallery, with its green open spaces it feels a world apart from London’s crowded city centre.
The food will focus on the high quality produce that the Camberwell Arms is known for. Charcuterie, smoked salmon, pickles, ice cream and sorbet will all be made in house whilst the rest will be carefully sourced from the best UK producers. The menu will include radishes with anchoiade, prawns with aioli and crab on toast alongside other delicious summer snacks designed to share.
