The Camberwell Arms is a South London restaurant and bar, headed up by Chef Director, Michael Davies, who creates regularly changing menus based on seasonal and quality ingredients.

Voted #1 of the Guardian’s 50 best Sunday lunches 2017 as well as the winner of the OFM Awards 2015, the food is elegant yet comforting, ensuring that natural bold flavours aren’t over-complicated. Michael and his team have asserted their own unique style within this local neighbourhood pub, serving up a thoughtful selection of snacks, small plates and generous feasting dishes designed for sharing and conviviality. Expect hearty and comforting choices with dishes suitable for vegetarians without being a throwaway afterthought.

We specialise in high quality produce and simple cooking. If we can make something ourselves, we do – charcuterie, sausages, smoked fish, pickles, pasta, breads and ice cream are all made in house – whilst the rest is carefully sourced from the best producers and cooked on our charcoal grill.

The Camberwell Arms is perhaps best known for its Sunday Lunch but extends far beyond that, open daily for lunch and dinner, drinks and snacks in the bar. Michael’s food is at the core of what makes it such a special place to be.

Set within a public house, bars are also an integral part of what we do. The Camberwell Arms has two bars – downstairs you will find a traditional pub, a place to drop in for a drink and a snack, whilst our upstairs bar is open late for classic drinks and great music with a 2am license. The upstairs bar is available for events and private hire, popular for weddings and other memorable celebrations.
